Autonomy
Developing autonomy
This is one of the essential pillars of the IBSA pedagogy. At the very beginning of a student’s education we work towards the adoption of this competency. Very early in their development, toddlers begin to put their bags in their lockers on their own. The elder ones know how to organize their work in their folders. The elementary students seek out their own information wherever it may be and then make use of it, wisely.
The back-to-school meeting allows parents to better understand how to track their children’s progress.

The workshop models
Our learners are organized in small groups to work in rotation on predefined activities. Most of the time, activities are carried out individually, but peer support is possible / desirable.
